Reinforced Building’s Structure – Project 19051101

Building structure reinforcement performed due to significant malpractice done years ago during connecting buildings two floor units with a staircase.

Near 20 years earlier, remodelers removed a load-bearing wall supporting a large area of one floor with a very heavy slate roof over it, leaving a very thin wooden decorative staircase pilaster holding all these for all that time. Our job was to properly reinforce 3-rd floor structure in this roughly 100-year-old building.
This project was performed per directions provided by the Structure Engineer, Moshe Calamaro, S.E., SECB http://www.moshecal.com
